

Alert! Breyten Breytenbach has just appeared on France 24, an English-language news service and press review, to talk about his friend, the late Palestinian poet Mahmoud Darwish, and his two latest books, Oorblyfsel/Voice Over and Notes from the Middle World.
The former work, of course, is explicitly linked to Darwish, being a poetic conversation with, and tribute to, the great writer.
In the interview, Breytenbach discusses his trips to Palestine, and the similarities and differences the situation there has with apartheid.
