JM Coetzee, perhaps best-known best for his novel Disgrace, has a new book waiting in the wings of 2009.
September 2009, to be precise – according to BOOK SA’s best information. The book, Summertime, is to be published by Random House imprint Harvill Secker.
Although we do not know much beyond the title of the book – which, we suspect in the teensiest of ways, carries a hint of irony – we thought it necessary to spread the exciting news. In the meantime, grab a copy of Coetzee’s Diary of a Bad Year, recently released in softcover – the last book of his to hit our shelves before it’s Summertime.
